My name is Pamela May Cameron. I have known Gary Itzstein for over ten years. I have been a Grand Prix Dressage trainer and rider in Indiana and Kentucky for twenty years. Over the years when I was located in Indiana, when I had a horse I didn’t want to deal with or couldn’t figure out I called on Gary. As a professional I set up several clinics for Gary with top performance Dressage and Three Day Event horses and their owners and he always turned out a more compatible team.
Other times when he conducted clinics and did private lessons here he would start horses in a few hours and have the owners on that first day. No gimmicks, no tricks, just great horsemanship. My personal experience is with my own three year old Hanoverian colt who wouldn’t canter on the left lead or would swap. Needless to say it was more than a training issue but after veterinary care I needed help because my horse would buck up even after I got the lead or just stop belligerently. Thanks to Gary, after his kind but insistent training, I had a horse that every time I went in the ring I came home with ribbons. I now live in Las Vegas, Nevada and don’t get to see or work with Gary much, but if you need a trouble shooter or someone to start your horse Gary Itzstein would be your best bet.
